I was born and raised in Uganda in very poor conditions, lost both of my parents at the age of 13 but was determined not to be deterred from achieving what i wanted to achieved. I wanted to grow up to start and run successful businesses to make a difference in Africa. Lived and experienced the scourge of poverty. After secondary school I got an opportunity to come to the UK to read Law at the University of London.

After Law school, I worked for one of the world largest Food company in London for a couple of years, after which, I decided to do what I always wanted to do, start a travel and tour company for Africa but with one major difference. “Combine safari holidays and volunteering” and using 10% of our profits from the holidays we organise for our customers to create sustainable long term development projects.

I have many years experience of running Africa focused travels; I have been to Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Africa, and Zambia. I am so passionate about Africa and using tourism to make a difference.

My job at Sandfield Travel is to make sure we maintain the ethos that was my founding idea. To deliver quality Real Africa Adventures at an affordable cost compared to anyone else while offering the highest levels of customer service and using 10% of the profit for local development projects in countries we operate starting one country at time.
