7 Days Great Migration Safari

Overview

Kenya is one of the world’s top wildlife destinations, and there is no better time to visit than during the Great Migration. If the dates are chosen carefully you could not only see the “Big 5” but also witness the continuous charging mass of wildebeest that stretch from horizon to horizon, and the drama of the huge crocodiles that await the bountiful feast as thousands of animals struggle to cross the Mara river.

Day 1

Arrive in Nairobi to meet your guide who will take you to your accommodation for the night.

Day 2

Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, ready for lunch before spending the afternoon enjoy extensive game drives in the park and around the lake, which is home to thousands of pink flamingos.

Day 3

Drive via Narok to the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Check in and have lunch before spending the afternoon on game drives in the reserve.

Day 4 - 6

Three whole days in Maasai Mara, witnessing up to 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 bird species in their natural habitat. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, so you can expect to see the ‘Big Five’ as well as other game like hippos, cheetah, impala, giraffe and wildebeest. Our experienced English-speaking guides will drive you to where the exciting action of the Great Migration is happening.

Day 7

After breakfast you will head back to Nairobi where your guide will drop you at the airport.
