The best of Tanzania and Zanzibar
Overview
This small group safari offers the chance to see the amazing diversity of landscapes and wildlife at Tanzania’s four main National Parks, before ending your trip with some luxury and relaxation on the beaches of the tropical island of Zanzibar. Guided by our team of local experts, you will visit the Tarangire River and the famous Serengeti, which offers one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa. The safari continues with a chance to explore the amazing Ngorongoro Crater, including a full day in the Crater itself, and finishes at stunning Lake Manyara. After all the excitement of safari, you then fly to Zanzibar to spend four nights relaxing and exploring the fabled spice island before you return home fully refreshed and with some amazing memories.
Day 1
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) and meet your friendly local guide who will escort you to your accommodation at Arusha Town.
Day 2
Travel to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive, a picnic lunch in the stunning surroundings and an overnight stay in a lodge.
Day 3
After breakfast travel to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, a Masai Village and an en-route game drive, before arriving at camp for your overnight stay.
Day 4
A full day game drive spotting animals in the famous Serengeti National Park, including lunch and an overnight stay.
Day 5
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before stopping for a picnic lunch. Proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Malanja Depression, passing through various Masai villages towards to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6
After a hearty breakfast travel to one of the most famous sites in Africa, Ngorongoro Crater, for a 6 hour game drive and a visit to a Masai village. Proceeding to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7
Travel by road from Lake Manyara to Arusha via Great Rift valley and the African village of Mto wa Mbu, before dropping off at the Airport for flight to Zanzibar. On arrival at Zanzibar Int Airport you will be met by one of our team who will escort you to your beach resort on the East Coast.
DAY 8 – 11
Time to relax and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You can explore the island, take a boat ride into the Indian Ocean or try scuba diving in one of the world’s best locations.
DAY 12
After breakfast, checkout and our representative will pick you up take you to Zanzibar Airport.
