9 Day Tailor-made Uganda Safari & Gorilla trekking and white water Rafting

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a Sandfieldtravel team member will meet you. Arrival on a morning or early afternoon flight will be best. You will be able to exchange money and settle in at your accommodation. Dinner will be at your accommodation.

You will have an English-speaking driver/guide who will be with you throughout your stay in Uganda

After Breakfast, You will set off for Bwindi Nantonal Park. You will aim to leave Kampala at around 7:00 am, lunch will be had on the way to Bwindi. The journey takes you through amazing scenery and you will get to know why this part of Uganda is known as the Switzerland of Africa. You will have plenty of stops overs and there are many stuff to see enroute Bwindi.

GORILLA TREKKING

You embark on the long-awaited adventure of Gorilla trekking in the Bwindi Impenetrable forest. The jungle being unpredictable, it is difficult to estimate how long you may hike; however, the excursion may take 3-8 hours. Encounter and viewing of Gorillas last

a maximum of one hour, which is a conservation rule.

Although normal mountain gorilla tracking you spend only 1 hour in the presence of the Gorillas, with this habituation experience you will be able to spend 2-3 hours once you find the gorillas. This allows for better learning about these incredible human-like primates.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge. If your tracking doesn’t take long and come back by 1 pm – we will take you for a village tour and cultural dance by the local people. You will get to learn more about the cultures of the people who used to live in this Bwindi forest

After breakfast, you will set off for Kampala,  BUT before going far, you will be take to Lake Mburo for a quick game drive, there quite special animals including the amazing Zebras, Buffalo, Waterbucks Kuddus, elands and many more.Get your Cameras ready.

We do an early morning game drive, a good time to see the predators. Other animals to see in this park are warthog, hyena, giraffe, elephant, kob and many more.  This game drive will last a minimum of 4 hours; you can choose whether to have your breakfast packed before you leave for the game drive or have it when you come back from the game drive.  Be back to accommodation in time to freshen up and have lunch. You will then go for the boat launch at exactly 2:00 pm; it starts at Paraa Lodge and ends at the foot of Murchison falls, lasting 3 hours. This boat trip will enable you to see Hippos, crocodiles and a lot of bird life.  Dinner at your lodge

After breakfast, you will set off for Jinja. You will stop for lunch before continuing to Jinja Via Kampala.

This one is a special moment, you ‘re going to be rafting on famous river Nile. A client once told me” Wycliffe, I don’t understand why this not being sold left and right as these raft are world class grades” So I know you will enjoy. We will Aim to leave at around 3pm and get back to kampala. You will visit the source of the Nile and town and then head out.
