Elective Medical Placement

Overview

Our roots in Africa mean we have strong relationships with the medical community in Uganda, so we are able to arrange suitable opportunities for elective medical placements. The hospitals you will be placed in have a long history of working with student medics, so the lead doctors are well aware of what you will want to get out of the experience and the challenges you will face. As well as meeting some inspirational medical professionals the placement will give you an insight into how healthcare sector works in Uganda and first experience of dealing with tropical medical diseases. Your trip will end with a chance to see some of the most amazing wildlife Africa has to offer.
